Women's Magazine - 8.2% of Vietnamese women experience postpartum depression resulted in a survey done on 1,400 Vietnamese women by Hanoi Medical University.

In today society, Taking care of baby and mother isn’t easy. Depressed pregnant women show higher levels of prenatal stress hormone (cortisol) compared to healthy women, a possible explanation for some associated risks. Women who are depressed during pregnancy have smaller babies in mid pregnancy and slower fetal growth compared to non-depressed women. They're more likely to have premature delivery and babies with low birth weight and height. Depressed Mothers are at greater risk of early breastfeeding cessation, which puts their babies at risk of getting diarrhea and other infections.

To get Health Tips for Pregnant Women (What to eat and what to avoid) without having to experience negative emotions such as hate, anger, jealousy, sadness, anxiety, stress and irritability, Women's Magazine in collaboration with City International Hospital will be launching an online specialist consultation entitled "Infant and Mother Care."
