Migraine is a disorder with characteristic headaches that can be debilitating. Migraine headaches, often referred to as migraines, are a sudden and severe unilateral headache, accompanied by symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light and noise.

What causes Migraine?

The causes of migraine have not been fully understood. It is found that more than 60% of migraine patients whose parents also suffer from migraine. Many hypotheses have been proposed to explain the mechanism of disease. The most widely accepted hypothesis is that migraines are associated with certain changes in the brain's functioning of the trigeminal nerve. In addition, disturbances of intermediates, especially serotonin, can also be a cause of headaches.

Office workers often face migraines.

There is no guaranteed way to prevent migraines. However, some of the following lifestyle habits are thought to help limit the severity of the illness: Place a cold cloth or ice pack on your head or face when a headache occurs. Lying in a dark, quiet room, resting and getting enough sleep. Minimize noise, light and odors like cigarette smoke. Avoid migraine triggers, such as the use of stimulant foods and alcoholic beverages. Exercise regularly.

Neurosurgeons cited risk factors that contribute to the onset of vasomotor headaches such as stress, fatigue, depression, high levels of sweeteners and monosodium glutamate, hormonal changes (especially during menstruation, menopause and premenopause), changes in weather, genetic factors from parents, excessive alcohol and alcohol use.

In particular, the object is office workers with high intensity and pressure, often tiredness leading to metabolic and endocrine disorders in which vasomotor headache is quite common. In addition, the disease is at higher risk for women than men, women in modern society are more stressed at work and care for the family, plus the complex physiology that makes women Office workers are the most vulnerable to this disease.

Migraine treatment

Headache can be a chronic disease. Currently, there is no specific medicine to cure the disease completely. The majority of patients are indicated for the use of vasodilators, which reduce pain. However, patients should not self-medicate at home, but need the guidance of a physician after an examination and evaluation of the patient's specific condition.

Due to limitations in treatment, prevention of disease as well as avoiding relapse is considered a priority in dealing with migraine. People who are ill, need to pay special attention to the spirit, avoid excessive stress, reduce workload pressure to avoid affecting the nervous system.

In addition, it is necessary to apply physical therapy to support the treatment of vasomotor headache very effectively and avoid side effects when using drugs.

Walking, nourishing, swimming, cycling and light physical exercise activities are good ways to prevent vasomotor headaches and improve your physical condition.
