How much exercise is enough?
Any bit of exercise you can add into your day is counted a plus. Minimum amount of exercise time recommended is 30 minutes per day and 5 days per week. For young adults, the goal is at least one hour per day. Cardiovascular organizations around the world recommend 10,000 steps a day  for a healthy heart which is equivalent to about 8 kilometers.
What types of exercise are included?
Any types that increase your heart rate which are: brisk walking, stairs climbing, shopping, gardening, doing chores, dancing, yoga, sports. These activities create motivation for active living. Sometimes you find it hard to exercise for various reasons and the most common one is not having enough time. Thinking of it in a long term, it’s right that you need to spend time to exercise, but a little each day will also do the work in keeping you actively healthy. Exercise allows the brain to work better and a healthy body will result in a positive mental health, just like the name of a Japanese sport shoes company, ASICS, in Latin anima sana in corpore sano.
